CAAMA Radio produces two local news bulletins airing at 12pm and 5pm every weekday.

In this bulletin:

  • Victorian Independent Senator LIDIA THORPE says sexual harassment allegations she made this week against Liberal Senator DAVID VAN were only taken seriously after a non-Aboriginal woman made similar complaints;
  • The Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is urging people to look after their feet. Congress has launched a new web page full of resources in English and local Aboriginal languages, called Looking After Feet, including a smartphone app;
  • The Desert Knowledge Centre will hold its Bustin The Grass Festival tomorrow at the precinct south of Alice Springs, similar to a wood chopping competition, to draw attention to the buffel grass problem in Central Australia;
  • And it’s a top of the table clash in the Central Australian Football League tomorrow at Albrecht Oval at 3PM when ladder leaders Federals take on second placed Pioneers.
