He’s back……veteran broadcaster Floyd Doyle makes a welcome return to CAAMA.

Kabbi -Kabbi / Meriam man Floyd Doyle from the  Sunshine coast in QLD began his media career in 1989 as a trainee broadcaster with CAAMA Radio -then located at Little Sisters, south of Heavitree Gap.

 As a part of the ABC ‘s first Indigenous cadets intake Floyd worked with both ABC Radio AND Triple J before fulfilling his promise to the late Kumunjayi Perkins to return to Mparntwe to share his newfound skills and knowledge with local trainees.

Floyd moved into News and Current Affairs where he worked for a number of years before returning to QLD .

He worked as   a Broadcaster/Journalist with 4K1G in Townsville  and later  as Broadcaster /Trainer with 4 U.S.  in Cherbourg S.E QLD.

 In 2003 Floyd moved to 6 DBY  in Derby Western Australia before again returning to CAAMA  where he worked under  sector legend  Jim Remedio.

 Floyd has  continued  to live and work  in the Territory before  finding his way back to CAAMA.
