- A member of the voice referendum working group has criticised the Liberal Party after its leader announced they would formally oppose the indigenous voice referendum.
- A 20-metre-tall Christian cross at the top Memory Mountain, near Ikuntji or Haasts Bluff, about 200km west of Alice Springs, was officially opened to the public this past Good Friday.
- Alice Springs addiction services are warning meth addiction is growing in the town, saying children as young as 11 had been seen using the drug on river beds.
