In this bulletin:
• Hundreds of Aboriginal people from Mbantwe Alice Springs, local town camps and surrounding remote communities attended a community gathering to progress and develop a culturally appropriate response to crime and social issues across Central Australia.
• Meanwhile, the Northern Territory opposition is bringing a no confidence motion against the Fyles Territory government over its handling of alcohol bans lapsing last year.
• Federal NT Senator Jacinta Nampajinpa Price has introduced a private member’s bill that seeks to reinstate federal intervention alcohol bans and provide greater investment into Alice Springs.
