“We want to hear from Elders,young people and families on the ground about what is happening,what’s not working and what solutions need to be supported. These are our kids,these are our future generations. we need to guide the way.we cannot have non Indigenous people in town speaking on top of us or demonizing our young people.”

“We understand the frustration and anger that is and has been growing in our town. The division that Alice Springs is in right now is not healthy for the people of the town and surrounding communities. Hate speech on social media isn’t helpful. If people want to work together, lets be productive and respectful towards each other, so that our youth can be guided by us all.”
“We are the experts with the knowledge and understanding of our own Indigenous affairs.We need solutions to be implemented and funded properly.We have been asking for this throughout the fifteen years of the Intervention. We want to sit at the table with our allies. We want to work in partnership with business owners ans broader community service providers.”
