CONVERGE is a gathering which celebrates, showcases and recognises the value and necessity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander media in getting our voices, views and our stories heard nationally and internationally. Converge was held at the DoubleTree Hilton in Mparntwe/ Alice Springs and presented plenaries, showcase presentations and industry discussion. CONVERGE provided valuable updates and helped delegates set the future direction of the First Nations media sector.

On Tuesday 22nd November, First Nations Media Australia’s inDigiMOB team hosted the Indigenous Digital Leadership Forum focused on remote telecommunications and digital connectivity in Alice Springs. FNMA members who have attended previous Broadband for the Bush and/or Indigenous Focus Day forums were invited to join with representatives from the telecommunications industry, government and relevant stakeholders for digital inclusion discussions and strategy.
