The Children’s Ground, an Mparntwe/Alice Springs based organisation, has spoken out against the rising issue of Domestic Violence in the Northern Territory, stating, “We Arrernte leaders and families of Children’s Ground stand strong against the serious violence towards First Nations women, that has resulted in an epidemic of missing and murdered women across this country.”
In a piece to CAAMA Radio, Senior Educator at Children’s Ground, Felicity Hayes, and the Head of Health at Children’s Ground Cherisse Buzzacott, spoke of the issue, of their own personal concerns and on the importance of women in the community.
