Over a hundred government workers gathered at one of Mparntwe Alice Springs main intersections at the town Council Lawn, in the rain, to protest against a pay freeze to their wages.

It comes after an offer to the worker’s unions, which offered a wage increase of which the corrections officers and teachers unions have rejected.

CAAMA Radio spoke to some of the protestors at the rally, where they shared some of their thoughts.
