Arrernte Community Boxing Academy is a not-for-profit boxing club which started out training fighters in parks around Alice Springs before moving into the Alice Springs Youth & Community Centre.
Today they appeared at the Alice Springs Library to host some activities for kids.
Head trainer Jason Lord and assistant trainer Dennis Goodwin aka (Dennis The Menace), have been opening its doors to fighters and those looking to get fit for over two decades. Beyond the fitness, the Arrernte Community Boxing Academy is a safe space which caters to all walks of life, giving it members fundamental training blocks to grow as individuals and be equipped to navigate through the challenges that life throws at them.
The Arrernte Community Boxing Academy is open Monday to Friday, with each session $5.
