In today’s bulletin (6pm):

  • The lockout for Greater Darwin, which was due to lift at midnight Monday has been  extended for 24 hours. after hundreds more potential close contacts with the  positive Covid-19 case have been identified.
  • Victoria  recorded 1,126 new local cases of COVID-19 and five deaths.
  •  NSW has posted 187 new cases and seven deaths  as new freedoms for fully vaccinated people come into effect today
  • NT Health has increased efforts to make the Covid 19 vaccine more accessible  for Alice Springs locals with a pop up clinic now operating at the Larapinta IGA.
  • Northern Territory police are investigating a fire in an Alice Springs town camp where a woman has died, and a man suffered burns.
  • An Australian First nations delegate to COP26  says  Australia is so far behind   every other nation on the planet in regard to climate change  issues … it just isn’t funny anymore!
