National Sorry Day, or the National Day of Healing, is an annual event that remembers and commemorates the mistreatment of the country’s Aboriginal peoples as part of an ongoing process of reconciliation. The first National Sorry Day was held on the first anniversary of the 1997  Bringing them Home Report….. events are held across the country.
