- Darwin born Natasha Fyles is the new Northern Territory chief Minister after she was unanimously chosen as leader by the Labor caucus on Friday morning following the shock resignation of Michael Gunner earlier this week. Acting Chief Minister and former Deputy Chief Minister Nicole Manison was unsuccessful in her bid for the top job.
