The Morrison Government says it will more than double the highly successful Indigenous Ranger Program and bring on 2,000 additional ranger jobs in regional and remote Australia as part of a targeted program to empower Aboriginal people, create jobs, build skills, and unlock the economic potential of Aboriginal land.
As part of the federal budget… Minister for Indigenous Australians Ken Wyatt says the $636.4 million funding towards the program will encourage more Aboriginal women to begin working as rangers on land and sea country as well as fund long-term economic opportunities and environmental outcomes.
