Prime Minister Scott Morrison was in Alice Springs today where he shared his version of the Indigenous Voice to Parliament.
Despite not being able to fulfil his promise to enshrine a voice to parliament in this term, Mr Morrison said the government was moving ahead with local and regional voices ….
The Prime Minister also announced a new package of over 22 million dollars for Indigenous leadership and governance measures, including a 13.5million funding announcement for the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience.
Mr Morrison also says entrepreneurship and investment into local businesses will be a significant factor in enriching First Nations people’s lives in the future.
The Pm also found time to brush up on his newly found welding skills….
