- An Aboriginal woman in her 70s from the Binjari community has died from COVID-19. It is the first death from COVID since the beginning of the pandemic.
- The artistic director of the Bangarra Dance Theatre Stephen Page has announced that he will step down from his role in early 2023 after 32 years with the dancing group.
- The Central Land Council have welcomed the passing of amendments to the NT Aboriginal Land Rights Act, saying it will allow Aboriginal-led decisions regarding the Aboriginal Benefits Account.
