The NT MLA for Sanderson Kate Worden has been travelling around Central Australia over the last week, including Alice Springs.
The department with which her portfolio is aligned, Territory Families, recently made the recent decision to reduce the operating hours of the Alice Springs Youth Hub located in Railway Terrace in the town.
It had previously been a 24/7 hub, but will now close at 10pm with Tangentyere Council transporting young people to safe spaces overnight.
Ms Worden spoke to CAAMA’s Philippe Perez about the changes to the hub and a number of other issues as well (audio below).
