A new design of the Yeperenye dreaming has been launched at a school in Mbantwe Alice Springs.
The Bradshaw Primary School revealed the design which was created over 18 months with collaboration with local Arrente people.
Members of the local community also raised funds for the project to be ready for NAIDOC celebrations that were undertaken at the school which focused on hearing the story of the Yeperenye.
Aboriginal Education Officer Shannan Clarke says she hopes the installation of the design strengthens local Aboriginal children’s identity and brings the local Mbantwe community together.
